Josef Vágner brings the show Muzikály Naruby to Měšťanská beseda in Plzeň on Monday, 18 January 2027. This is a concert performance in which Vágner and fellow performers sing hits from Czech and international musicals accompanied by a live band. Měšťanská beseda, a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau decoration built in 1901, ranks among the city's most significant cultural venues. The Plzeň concert is one of nine Czech dates on Vágner's 2026-2027 tour schedule. The program features songs from musicals including Les Misérables, Cleopatra, and The Three Musketeers.

About the venue: Měšťanská Beseda

Měšťanská beseda is a Neo-Renaissance building with Art Nouveau décor, erected by the Pilsen citizens' association in 1901 and ceremonially opened on 29 December of that year. Following an extensive renovation completed in 2005, it serves as one of the most important cultural centres in Pilsen. The venue houses several halls and salons, the Beseda Cinema, the Jonáš Theatre and an Art Nouveau café, with a total capacity of over 1,000 persons. Concerts, theatre performances, balls, film screenings, festivals, lectures and children's events take place here almost daily. The building is a listed cultural monument and received the Building of the Year 2005 award.

Jan Kopečný (born 1989 in České Budějovice) is a Czech actor, singer and lyricist. He first caught public attention in 2006 on the Czech edition of Pop Idol, then went on to play dozens of musical roles - Romeo, Casanova and D'Artagnan among them. Since 2018 he has fronted the band BOTOX, and he is one of the three performers behind the touring show Muzikály naruby.
