Muzikály Naruby comes to Žďár nad Sázavou on Tuesday, 8 December 2026 at the Dům kultury. This is one of nine Czech dates on Josef Vágner's tour. The cultural centre on Dolní street is the largest venue of its kind on the Vysočina plateau, with capacity for up to one thousand spectators. Designed by architect Milan Blahut and completed in the late 1980s, the building features a multipurpose hall suited to various types of performances. Vágner presents a programme of hits from Czech and international musicals accompanied by a live band.

About the venue: House of Culture

Dům kultury in Žďár nad Sázavou is the largest cultural centre in the Vysočina region, with a capacity of up to 1,000 people. The building was designed by architect Milan Blahut - his study dates from 1977, and construction was completed in the second half of the 1980s. The multipurpose hall can be adapted for theatrical productions to seat up to 800. The municipal organisation Kultura Žďár runs concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, balls and festivals here.

Prague-born Josef Vágner has been collecting musical roles since childhood and is now the face of Muzikály Naruby - a project he and colleagues Petr Ryšavý and Jan Kopečný have taken all the way to the O2 universum stage. Over his career he has released four solo albums and holds the 2007 Český slavík Discovery of the Year title.
