About the venue

Dům kultury in Žďár nad Sázavou is the largest cultural centre in the Vysočina region, with a capacity of up to 1,000 people. The building was designed by architect Milan Blahut - his study dates from 1977, and construction was completed in the second half of the 1980s. The multipurpose hall can be adapted for theatrical productions to seat up to 800. The municipal organisation Kultura Žďár runs concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, balls and festivals here.
