Ibrahim Maalouf is a French-Lebanese trumpeter and composer known for blending jazz with Arabic music and other global influences. Born in Beirut and raised in Paris, he trained at the Conservatoire. His project The Trumpets of Michel-Ange is an ambitious orchestral work inspired by Michelangelo's frescoes.
