About the venue

The Vřídelní kolonáda in Karlovy Vary is built directly over the Vřídlo, the most powerful hot spring in the Czech Republic, which shoots water at over 72 °C up to 12 metres into the air. The current modernist building dates from the late 1960s and functions both as a colonnaded spa hall where visitors drink the mineral water and as a venue for exhibitions and cultural events.
