Kindernay & Kuttnerová & Šturmová: Víření (Swirl of Water)

Sound - Field Recordings - Contemporary Dance - Architecture - Karlovy Vary Spas

A contemplative intervention combining sound art by Michal Kindernay with contemporary dance by Markéta Kuttnerová and Jolana Šturmová - all in dialogue with the architecture of the Otruby Colonnade.

The site-specific performance is based on field recordings of the soundscape of the spa zone, which Michal Kindernay captured during the creative residency Essence of Place last year. The performance is part of a new dramaturgical cycle dedicated to the sonic landscape of the spa zone and the themes of protecting natural resources and caring for the spa's cultural and therapeutic landscape.
