Petr Tomeček / Classics for Millions is a musical project that brings together works of world classical music with modern arrangements. The programme features pieces from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods - Bach's Air, Gounod's Ave Maria, Beethoven's Pathétique Sonata and the aria "Moonlight in the Sky" from Rusalka.

The centrepiece of the evening is the Pan flute performed by Petr Tomeček. The concert is accompanied by lighting effects and visual projections.

The performance takes place at the House of Culture in Žďár nad Sázavou.

About the venue: House of Culture

Dům kultury in Žďár nad Sázavou is the largest cultural centre in the Vysočina region, with a capacity of up to 1,000 people. The building was designed by architect Milan Blahut - his study dates from 1977, and construction was completed in the second half of the 1980s. The multipurpose hall can be adapted for theatrical productions to seat up to 800. The municipal organisation Kultura Žďár runs concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions, balls and festivals here.
