15th Season Bach na Mozart! - First Half: Michna and Monteverdi

SILENTIUM! performs a Baroque concert on 24 September 2026 at the Church of St. John in Brno. The programme focuses on works by Michna of Otradovice and Monteverdi, presenting compositions from the Sacra et Litaniae cycle within the context of European musical tradition. The Church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist, built in the 13th century and remodelled in Baroque style during the 18th century, provides an authentic setting for this music. Conductor Roman Válek leads the SILENTIUM! ensemble and Czech Ensemble Baroque. This performance is one of nine Czech concerts by the group this season, with additional dates scheduled across Brno and the Moravian-Silesian region.
