My Own Way 07

An evening in the style of Pecha Kucha: six lectures of 12 minutes each, followed by an afterparty. Personalities from music, sports, media, literature, design, and business will take the stage to share their stories.

Featuring Stejk (Jakub Steklý), a YouTuber creating content since 2010 with over 1.4 million subscribers, co-host of the podcast HYPE-CAST with Martin Molnár. Markéta Dobešová, violinist with the National Theatre Orchestra and long-distance trekker who has crossed the Alps, Corsica, and the Carpathians, author of the book "Trek, pot a slzy" about the 880-kilometer Pyrenees ridge trail. Jan Korabečný, industrial designer with experience in European automotive including Porsche, currently heading the department of design and applied arts at the Faculty of Design and Art Ladislav Sutnar in Plzeň. Markéta Bednářová, basketball player who started in Žďár nad Sázavou and became European champion in 2005, world vice-champion in 2010, and Olympian from Beijing. Jan Jícha (Člobrdan), director of Budějovická Gymnasium, writer, slam poet, and stand-up comedian, author of the novel "Ředitel a hydra" and this year's collection "Bít o slam". Jana Šrámková, founder of the reKáva project, which gives new life to spent coffee grounds - collecting it by cargo bike, composting it, growing oyster mushrooms on it, and demonstrating how circular economy works in practice.

The program consists of short presentations by six speakers from various fields with time for questions and discussion. After the lectures, an afterparty with the speakers and other participants follows.
