Wolfarian is an eight-piece symphonic folk metal band from Brno, Czech Republic, active since 2012. Their sound is built on the contrast between a raw male growl and a clean female voice, layered with violin, flute, and keyboards. Lyrics draw on Norse and Celtic mythology - gods, battles, and the turning of ages. Over more than a decade they have toured across Europe and shared stages with acts such as Moonsorrow, Corvus Corax, and Lagerstein.
Wolfarian released their third studio album VEGR on October 4, 2025, focused on Norse mythology, and premiered it at the Brno club První Patro.
In August 2025, the band released the single and music video Mímisbrunnr as a preview of the album VEGR.
The premiere of the album VEGR took place with the participation of foreign guests - Austrian Heathen Foray and Polish Aether.
Wolfarian are part of Winter Tour 2026 together with the bands Mollust and Circus Bizarre.
A concert featuring four bands at a castle venue in Prostějov. InnerSphere (CZ), Wolfarian, Surma, and Cronica perform on July 11, 2026.
The second Folk Metal Evening brings four bands to one stage. Wolfarian, Korkonto, Radogost, and Emerald Shine will perform their blend of folk and metal at Melodka na Střeláku in Brno.
