Eluveitie is a Swiss folk-metal band from Winterthur, formed in 2002. They blend melodic death metal with Celtic instruments - hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, fiddle - and draw their lyrics from Gallo-Roman mythology and ancient Celtic history. Albums like „Slania" and „Everything Remains (As It Never Was)" brought them international recognition.
