Sólstafir + Enslaved + Gaahls Wyrd

Enslaved and Sólstafir embark on a co-headline tour, performing at Brno's Fléda on 27 February 2027. They are joined by special guest Gaahls Wyrd. Enslaved will present their new album Mið, while Sólstafir showcase their current record Hin helga kvöl.

Norwegian Enslaved return with the album Mið, released on 30 October via Nuclear Blast Records. The title derives from the Old Norse word for "centre" and thematically continues their previous mythological albums Utgard (2020) and Heimdal (2023). The band abandoned strict black metal boundaries long ago and has been exploring evolving variations of their own sound - on tour they present material whose direction even they are uncertain about, and the live encounter of new compositions with the audience is crucial for them.

Icelandic Sólstafir come to support their latest album Hin helga kvöl. The band, which began in raw extremity, now operates in the post-metal realm, blending their melancholic sound with more aggressive echoes of their own past. Live, these dimensions gain additional depth through the personal performances of individual members.

Norwegian Gaahls Wyrd, fronted by vocalist Kristian "Gaahl" Espedal, have accepted the role of special guest on the European tour. Their black metal does not rely on straightforward aggression but on creeping atmosphere and vocal variability - they will bring a darker and colder counterpoint to both headliners to the Brno evening.
