Michal Prokop & Framus Five is a Prague rock band tracing its roots to 1963, performing under the current name since 1967 when guitarist Michal Prokop first stepped up to the microphone. The group built its reputation on a blend of rock, soul and blues with literary-quality lyrics, and ranks among the most respected names in Czech rock history. Prokop holds France's Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (1995) and is a two-time inductee into the Radio Beat Hall of Fame (2007, 2017).
