Seven are a hard and heavy band from České Budějovice, founded in 1996 by guitarist Honza "Kirk" Běhunek. In 2011 they became the first Czech band to release an album on Nuclear Blast Records - the album Freedom Call, produced by Victor Smolski of Rage. Over the years they have shared stages with Doro Pesch, Blaze Bayley, Scorpions, Uriah Heep and Rage, and toured across Europe as well as Russia and Ukraine. Their most recent studio album, RNR, came out in March 2022.
Seven organized the third edition of their own festival Seven Fest in Ševětíně (April 12, 2025), where guitarist Ota Váňa from Kabátu and singer Petr Kolář performed as guests.
In January 2025, bassist Vojta Zícha left the band, and Petr Kunc took his place.
At the end of 2023, guitarist Pepa Machutka successfully passed an audition and joined the lineup as the second guitarist.
In November 2022, guitarist Denis Fano left the band.
In March 2022, Seven released their ninth studio album RNR, which returns to the roots of heavy metal and was christened on the outdoor stage of the MC Fabrika club in Ceske Budejovice.
