About

Spiritbox are a Canadian metal band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 2017 by vocalist Courtney LaPlante and guitarist Mike Stringer. Their sound moves fluidly between metalcore, progressive metal and electronic textures, with LaPlante switching between clean singing and aggressive growling. Their 2021 debut Eternal Blue broke into the Billboard 200 at No. 13, and the 2025 follow-up Tsunami Sea debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Hard Rock Albums. The band has earned three consecutive Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance.
