Periphery is an American progressive metal band from Washington D.C., formed in 2005. They are widely regarded as pioneers of the djent subgenre, characterized by syncopated rhythms, extended-range guitars, and intricate song structures. Their double album Juggernaut: Alpha/Omega (2015) brought them international acclaim.
