Robert Křesťan & Druhá tráva is a Czech folk and americana band founded in Brno in 1991 by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Robert Křesťan (b. 1958) and banjo player Luboš Malina, both formerly of the bluegrass group Poutníci. With over 20 albums released in the Czech Republic and the USA, the band tours America regularly and ranks among the most decorated acts on the Czech folk scene - Křesťan has won the Anděl award multiple times and was inducted into the Czech Music Hall of Fame in 2021.
Druhá tráva announced the release of a new studio album Memphis in September 2026 - the recording was created directly in Tennessee under the direction of Grammy-award-winning producer Matt Ross-Spang.
For the 35th anniversary, the band is preparing its largest independent concert in its history on November 7, 2026 at Prague's O2 universum, where they will also premiere the album Memphis.
As part of the 35th anniversary celebrations, Druhá tráva toured Czech cities together with American bluegrass musician Tim O'Brien.
In autumn 2025, Druhá tráva performed four theater concerts in Prague, Ústí nad Labem, Brno, and Náchod as a continuation of the sold-out Forum Karlín from December 2024.
In December 2024, Druhá tráva celebrated its 33rd anniversary with a sold-out concert at Forum Karlín, which critics called one of the greatest in the band's history.
