About

Overkill is an American thrash metal band from New Jersey, active without interruption since 1980 - predating every member of the so-called Big Four. Vocalist Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth and bassist D.D. Verni have anchored the lineup from the start; across more than four decades the band has released twenty studio albums and never disbanded or gone on hiatus. Their debut Feel the Fire (1985) and The Years of Decay (1989) are genre cornerstones, while White Devil Armory (2014) became their highest-charting US album.
