Onslaught are a British thrash metal band from Bristol, England, active since 1982. Rooted in hardcore punk and NWOBHM, they sharpened their sound into straight-ahead thrash and are widely regarded as pioneers of the British thrash scene - often cited alongside Sabbat, Xentrix and Acid Reign as one of the UK's so-called "Big Four". Their early albums Power from Hell (1985) and The Force (1986) influenced countless extreme metal bands worldwide. After a hiatus from 1991 to 2005 the band reformed; vocalist Sy Keeler rejoined in 2025 and the group released their eighth studio album, Origins of Aggression.
Onslaught announced a North American tour "Force From Hell" with Warlord for spring 2026 - the first full US tour in more than ten years.
Sy Keeler played his first concert after returning to the band on November 9, 2025 at the Damnation festival in Manchester.
The band released their eighth studio album Origins of Aggression (May 23, 2025) on the new label Reigning Phoenix Music.
As a single from the album Origins of Aggression, the band released a cover version of the song "Iron Fist" by Motörhead.
Onslaught completed their historically first Australian tour (six stops: Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne).
