Death Angel is a Filipino-American thrash metal band from the San Francisco Bay Area, active since 1982. Originally formed by a group of cousins, they broke through with the debut The Ultra-Violence (1987) and are widely counted among the genre's "Big Eight" alongside Metallica, Slayer and Testament. After disbanding in 1991 they reunited in 2001 and have kept recording and touring ever since, earning their first Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance with the title track of Humanicide (2019).
Death Angel continue the Act III European Tour 2026 with Vio-lence as the opening band; additional dates are planned through 2027.

Death Angel launched the fall American tour for the 35th anniversary of the album Act III, which culminated in two sold-out Christmas concerts in San Francisco at The Fillmore.
