Mikal Hem is a Norwegian journalist and author. He is best known for his satirical guide How to Be a Dictator, which uses dark humour and political insight to analyse the methods of authoritarian rulers such as Putin, Trump, Kim Jong-il, and Gaddafi. The book was published in Czech in 2019 by Edice Knihy Omega.
