Sabat Fest at Země Keltů
Sabat Fest is a new summer open-air festival at a Celtic hillfort in Nasavrky featuring bands from across Europe, fire shows, and pagan ritual dances at midnight.
Itinera is a Budapest-based duo formed in 2022 by Horváth Anett (vocals, kaval, shaman drum, looper) and Ádám Nagy (vocals, keyboards). They blend Hungarian folk songs with electronics, pagan dark folk and shamanic mantras to create a trance-like ritual atmosphere, drawing comparisons to Heilung, Wardruna and Dead Can Dance. After their debut EP Aurora (2023), they released their first full-length album KÖR in 2025 and have been building a following at festivals across Europe.
Itinera performed on February 27, 2026 at Budapest's Fonó Budai Zeneház and described their approach to bringing Hungarian folk music to the world through dark folk in an interview for kultura.hu.
The French music website Acta Infernalis published a review of KÖR's debut album and called it a convincing fusion of pagan folk and electronics.
The Hungarian music portal Recorder presented the album KÖR as the duo's first full-length album - it contains both arrangements of folk songs and original compositions, as well as guest vocals by Váraie Áron from the band Góbé.
Itinera performed in Helsinki at the invitation of the Association of Hungarians in Finland and gave a concert combining traditional folk songs with ritualistic dark folk compositions.
The Fémforgács website compared Itinera to international names such as Heilung, Wardruna, and Dead Can Dance and reported that the duo is working on their first full-length album.
