The Trouble Notes are a Berlin-based instrumental trio founded in 2013 by New York violinist Bennet Cerven, who joined forces with German guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and British drummer George Bingham. Their sound weaves folk, progressive rock and world music into a largely instrumental, cinematic whole. Over more than a decade they have played in 35-plus countries, opened for acts like Jethro Tull and Rodrigo y Gabriela, and built a following through relentless touring and their 'More Violins, Less Violence' campaign for War Child.
