Emil Filla (1882–1953) was a Czech painter, graphic artist and sculptor, one of the foremost representatives of Cubism in Czech art. He was a co-founder of the group Osma and later the Tvrdošíjní group. His work spans portraits, still lifes and mythological subjects rendered in a Cubist style.
