Česká filharmonie, Prague

Free entry

An audio walk through Prague following the traces of composer Gustav Mahler is a project of the Czech Philharmonic that allows visitors to discover places connected with this composer directly in the city streets. The route begins at the Exhibition Grounds in Bubeneč (Prague 7) and leads through nine stops – including past the New German Theatre, the Hotel Modrá hvězda, and other places where Mahler lived, created, and sought inspiration, ending at the Rudolfinum. At each stop, you can view a map and be guided directly to the location; upon arrival, you can verify your position and save the stop among visited places. Headphones are recommended for uninterrupted listening to the audio guide. After visiting all nine locations, a bonus location opens – Café Rudolfinum, where participants receive a small gift as thanks for completing the entire route. The reward can be claimed by 1 September 2026. The walk is freely accessible and does not require advance booking.
