A major permanent exhibition showcasing over 1,300 objects of European applied art from antiquity to the present, organized thematically across six halls of the historic museum building.
The Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague (UPM) occupies a Neo-Renaissance building from 1900, designed by Josef Schulz and facing the Rudolfinum. Its collections span applied arts from the Middle Ages to the present - glass, ceramics, textiles, furniture and graphic design. The building itself is one of the finest examples of Prague historicist architecture.
