Vita aeterna. An Exhibition on Restoration

Vita aeterna demonstrates that cultural heritage does not survive on its own - behind its preservation stands the daily work of restorers and conservators. The exhibition, presented as an intervention within the permanent collection, makes visible this "invisible" work that stands between past and future.

Conservation and restoration are presented here as an interdisciplinary field connecting science, art, and craft. Visitors will learn about the fundamental processes of caring for cultural heritage - from preventive conservation to the most modern restoration methods.
