About the venue

Hotel Thermal is an iconic brutalist building from the late 1960s that towers over the Karlovy Vary spa centre. The hotel restaurant's terrace looks out over the colonnade and surrounding hills, and every year it becomes one of the focal points of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Outside festival season it operates as a regular hotel restaurant terrace.
