Summer Stage by Thermal - Underground COMEDY CLUB
Terasa restaurace Hotelu Thermal, Karlovy Vary
Summer Stage by Thermal & Underground COMEDY CLUB is a series of stand-up performances created in collaboration with Kino Drahomíra, the Kultura Vary association, and Underground COMEDY CLUB. The event runs from late July through August on the terrace of Hotel Thermal. Capacity is limited; tickets are available in advance.
On July 24, three performers are on the programme:
TOMÁŠ PLHOŇ - A product of České Budějovice, where according to him everything tastes like Budvar. Perhaps that's why he's so bitter - and he's decided to make a career of it in stand-up, where he can yell at people from the stage without worrying about the police.
TEREZA BONAVENTUROVÁ - A gentle feminist, hysterical housewife, and strong dependent woman. Her favourite topics include TV cooking shows and abortion policy - everything you didn't want to know about the lives of modern women and never wanted to ask.
LÁĎA KARDA - An actor who quit snorting cocaine to pursue stand-up. If the audience doesn't laugh at his jokes, he's decided to go back to cocaine. He settles scores with people who pissed him off and he didn't have the courage to tell them to their face - but usually he just gets angry at himself.
