Mohelnický FolkFest 2026, subtitled "Festival of People, Years and Music", takes place August 27-30, 2026. The opening on Thursday, August 27, will be held as a triple concert in the courtyard of Bouzov Castle. From Friday, August 28, through Sunday, August 30, the festival moves to the Municipal Gardens in Mohelnice and the adjacent campground, where more than 40 bands will perform on two stages.

The programme features Robert Křesťan and Druhá tráva, Banjo Band of Ivan Mládek, Taxmeni, Allan Mikušek (SK), Žalman and company, Roman Horký and Kamelot, Michal Horák, Marien and Víťa Troníček, Epydemye, COP, Jiří Vondráček Trio, Madalen and others.

The festival includes a traditional Friday bonfire and a children's programme.

About: Michal Horák

Michal Horák (born 1998 in Hradec Králové) is a Czech composer and singer-songwriter who performs on guitar, piano, harmonica and heligonka. He gained recognition through victories in the Czechtalent and Česko zpívá competitions in 2013, and received the Discovery of the Year award at the Český slavík poll in 2021. His work draws from folk traditions and is characterized by situational humour and an astute commentary on everyday occurrences. He has released four studio albums through 2025 and has collaborated with philharmonic orchestras on multiple occasions.
