Michal Horák (born 1998, Hradec Králové) is a Czech singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, piano, harmonica and heligonka. He first came to attention by winning the Czechtalent and Česko zpívá competitions in 2013, and in 2021 took the Discovery of the Year prize at the Český slavík poll. His folk-rooted songs are known for sharp situational humour and an easy-going take on everyday life. By 2025 he had released four studio albums and performed with philharmonic orchestras across the country.
In March 2026, Horák launched the tour Cestou k Fóru, which will take him through a series of Czech cities before the planned album release concert at Forum Karlín.
In March 2026, he released the single Nedělej si naději, recorded with producer Marcus Trane, as a preview of his fourth studio album.
In January 2026, it was announced that Horák will present his new album with a major concert at Forum Karlín in Prague, scheduled for Friday, November 13, 2026.
In November 2025, at the sold-out Hybernia theater in Prague, Horák received platinum and gold records from Supraphonu for the sales of the albums Michalbum and Michalovo cédéčko.
In 2025, he released the live album Michal Horák & filharmonie (Live) with 22 tracks from joint concerts with the philharmonic.
