Morčata na útěku is a Brno-based rock-metal band operating since 2004 that has cultivated a dedicated fanbase throughout the Czech Republic. The group's artistic foundation rests on parodies of popular Czech and international hits paired with their own lyrics - typically crude and pub-influenced in character - and they identify themselves as an "aggro-jazz" ensemble. In addition to cover versions, they produce original compositions, and their live performances emphasize direct audience engagement and irreverent comedy.

About the venue: BARRÁK music club

BARRÁK music club is a multi-genre music venue in Ostrava, originally opened in September 2011 in the renovated premises of the former Prostor-Tančírna club near Sýkorův most. Since September 2023 it has been located in a former sokolovna building in the Přívoz district, offering a larger stage and audience capacity. The club hosts concerts by Czech and international acts spanning metal, hardcore, punk, rock, pop and hip hop. Past performers include world-renowned acts such as Agnostic Front, Sick Of It All and Mayhem.
