15th Season Bach on Mozart! - 2nd Half: From the Kroměříž Archive II

The second part of the 15th season of the Bach on Mozart project takes place on 13 May 2027 at the Church of St. John in Brno. Conductor Tomáš Netopil leads the Silentium! ensemble in a program devoted to newly discovered works from the Kroměříž archive - compositions by Pavel Josef Vejvanovský and Philipp Jakob Rittler. The Church of St. John the Baptist and St. John the Evangelist, built in the 13th century and remodeled in the Baroque style during the 18th century, provides an authentic setting for this musical journey into Moravian musical heritage. Netopil presents this concert as part of his Czech series, which encompasses three dates dedicated to music from the unique archive of the Olomouc bishops.
