In the Orchestra: Hear Brno

On Friday 29 January 2027, Brno hosts the project In the Orchestra: Hear Brno at the Besední dům on Komenského náměstí. Filharmonie Brno brings listeners close to the orchestra while performing works by Mozart, Janáček, Mahler, Prokofiev, Martinů, Kaprálová, J. Novák, Korngold and Ježek. The Besední dům, designed by Viennese architect Theophil von Hansen, has been home to the orchestra since its founding in 1956. The project also takes place elsewhere in January, forming part of the Czech orchestral season.
