Nezmaři

On Thursday, October 27 at 7 p.m., one of the most distinctive and longest-active bands on the Czech folk scene will perform in the Great Hall of Záložna in Litovel - Nezmaři. The group was founded in 1978 in České Budějovice and over more than four decades has earned a firm place in the hearts of listeners across generations. They are characterized by distinctive multi-part vocals, acoustic sound, and songs that blend poetry, humor, and humanity. Nezmaři perform over a hundred concerts annually throughout the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Their repertoire consists mainly of original compositions, along with proven world folk classics. During the Litovel concert, songs from all periods of the band will be heard - from the oldest to newer pieces from the album "Kdo si zpívá, má do ráje blíž". The current lineup consists of Pavel Zajíc, Pavel Drengubák, Tonda Hlaváč, and Šárka Benetková. The band is the holder of numerous awards, including two Golden Keys for best folk group of the year, and is among the respected stalwarts of the Czech music scene. The concert in Litovel promises a pleasant autumn evening full of quality music, good vibes, and communal singing.
