Four Agreements - Jaroslav Dušek
Jaroslav Dušek brings to Litovel his production of "The Four Agreements", one of the longest-running shows in his repertoire. On Tuesday, April 27, 2027, the Great Hall of Záložna will host a theatrical adaptation of Don Miguel Ruiz's bestselling book.
"The Four Agreements" draws on ancient Toltec wisdom and offers four seemingly simple rules that can transform how a person thinks about themselves, others, and everyday situations: don't sin with your word, don't take anything personally, don't make assumptions, and always do your best. In his book, Don Miguel Ruiz points out the beliefs and opinions that often limit us and can rob us of life's joy. The agreements, by contrast, show a path to greater inner freedom, contentment, and the ability to accept ourselves and those around us.
In Jaroslav Dušek's hands, however, this is no philosophical lecture - the production is built on humor, exaggeration, music, and above all improvisation, which means each performance is slightly different and emerges in direct contact with the audience. The show has been running on Czech stages for over twenty years. Jaroslav Dušek takes the lead role, alongside Pjér La Š'éz and Zdeněk Konopásek, with lighting design by Viktor Zborník and sound by Martin Dušek.
