KarmaFest Jihlava 2027

KarmaFest is a touring music festival dedicated to supporting the local music scene and building community around live music. It combines the concert experience with broader cultural impact and responds to growing demand for more authentic, locally rooted events - drawing inspiration from so-called boutique festivals, smaller experiential events that have grown in popularity in recent years compared to large commercial festivals.

The headline act is the band Reflections of Karma, one of the most striking new names on the Czech rock scene in recent years. The band features vocalist Travis O'Neill (Pipes and Pints), guitarist Maťo Mišík (ex-Tata Bojs), bassist Josh Stewart (Gaia Mesiah), and drummer Martin Boky Bock (Troublegang). In autumn 2025, they released their debut album Venom & Velvet, won the title of Discovery of the Year in the Žebřík Awards and Břitva competitions, received a nomination for the Cenu Anděl award, and their first Prague concert sold out completely. The experience of the club scene and the need to create space for live rock music were the driving forces behind KarmaFest.

The Jihlava edition of the festival takes place on 10 October at D-Klub. Other dates for KarmaFest 2026: 31 July Jirkov (Červený hrádek castle, open-air), 18 September Pardubice (Žlutý Pes), 25 September České Budějovice (Rockle Klub), 3 October Jablonec nad Nisou (Stage Klub), 22 October Prague (Futurum Music Bar), and 31 October Olomouc (S-Klub).
