79th International Folklore Meeting "Gorolski Święto"

The 79th International Folklore Meeting Gorolski Święto is the most significant cultural and social event in Těšín Silesia. It is the second-oldest folklore festival in the Czech Republic, organized by the Local Group of the Polish Cultural and Educational Association in Jablunkov. Over three days in Jablunkov's Municipal Forest, folklore ensembles from Těšín Silesia and the Czech-Slovak-Polish border region present themselves alongside groups from all corners of the world. This unique festival helps preserve the traditions of the Polish national minority living in Těšín Silesia. The festival features demonstrations and open workshops of traditional folk crafts, and visitors can taste local culinary specialties.
