After a two-year break, the Žďár nad Sázavou Festival Pod Zelenou horou returns. This year the festival moves to an amphitheatre in the Pilská nádrž reservoir area.

About the venue: Amfiteátr Pilák

Open-air amphitheatre in the Pilák recreational area by the Pilská reservoir on the edge of Žďár nad Sázavou. The area opened in 2014 and is run by Sportis, a municipal organisation. The amphitheatre stages summer concerts, theatre performances and local music festivals, including the annual Pilák Fest. It sits within the Žďárské vrchy protected landscape area, and entry to the grounds is free.

About: Mr. Lovo

This Vysočina five-piece draws on saxophonist Petr Venkrbec's years in Vltava and Psí vojáci, blending jazz, funk and rock with electronics into tight instrumental sets. Live, the band leans on improvisation, so no two shows play out quite the same.

About: Lesní zvěř

Lesní zvěř is a Czech instrumental trio - keyboards (Jiří Hradil), drums (Martin Čech) and trumpet (Marek Steyer) - working in the nu-jazz genre. Formed around the turn of the millennium, the band has moved from improvisational experimentalism toward a more stripped-back chamber sound. Their collaboration with Horňácká muzika Petra Mičky shaped their debut album and gave rise to the side project Hrubá Hudba.

Už jsme doma is a Czech rock band that emerged in 1985 in Teplice before establishing itself in Prague. Fronted by singer-guitarist Miroslav Wanek, the group fuses punk, avant-garde rock, jazz and theatrical poetry into a distinctive sound that Rolling Stone critic David Fricke compared to the work of Frank Zappa and John Zorn's hyperjazz. Across four decades, they have performed over 3,000 shows across 46 countries and cultivated a devoted following in the United States.
