Mr. Lovo is a jazz-fusion quintet from Žďár nad Sázavou, founded in 2020 around saxophonist Petr Venkrbec, a veteran of the Czech alternative bands Vltava and Psí vojáci. The five-piece - Venkrbec on saxophone, clarinet and synth, Martin Poledna on keys, Ladislav Výmola on guitar, Petr Petřek on bass and Libor Orel on drums - built its sound at the crossroads of jazz, funk and rock, with a thread of electronics running through it. Their second album VIBE, seven original instrumental tracks, followed the 2022 debut NODE.
Mr. Lovo performed at the Kutná Hora club Česká 1, where they presented their new album VIBE.
The band released their second album VIBE on vinyl; digital distribution took place in May 2026 via the MUSICRAFT label.
Mr. Lovo performed a joint concert with Luboš Pospíšil (5P) at the Cultural House Nové Město na Moravě.
