MIKULOVE 2026
Two-day festival of alternative and experimental music featuring Czech and Slovak bands, theatre, slam poetry, and exhibitions in the Mikulov amphitheatre.
Už jsme doma are a Czech rock band formed in 1985 in Teplice, later based in Prague. Led by singer-guitarist Miroslav Wanek, they blend punk, avant-garde rock, jazz and theatrical poetry into a sound Rolling Stone critic David Fricke described as a mix of Frank Zappa and John Zorn's hyperjazz. Over four decades they have played more than 3,000 concerts in 46 countries, building a rare cult following in the United States.
The band celebrated its 40th anniversary with a jubilee concert at Prague's Lucerna Music Bar (July 29, 2025) with American guests Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and Faun Fables.
Czech Television presented the documentary film "Je nám ctí… Už jsme doma - 40 let", a double portrait of Miroslav Wanek and artist Martin Velíšek.
As part of the anniversary tour, the band performed in Brno (Zahrada U Sosny, September 5) and in Uherský Brod together with the Brno group Ty Syčáci.
The band has scheduled a performance at the Post Tenebras Rock (PTR) festival in Geneva.
The band completed a tour of the US West Coast, including a performance in San Francisco (Bottom of the Hill, October 17, 2024).

Czech rock band Už Jsme Doma plays a live show at U Zavěšenýho kafe in Prague.

A summer multi-genre festival for families featuring live music, theatre performances, and creative workshops. Children under 15 get free admission.
