CBC Big Band is a jazz orchestra from České Budějovice, led by trumpeter and bandleader Miroslav Surka. The ensemble works in the tradition of swing big bands and performs regularly at Czech jazz festivals, including the South Bohemian JazzFest. Its repertoire spans classic jazz composers like Dizzy Gillespie and Benny Golson alongside contemporary writers such as Gordon Goodwin.
