Ořechovka Garden Quarter

A guided walking tour through the Ořechovka residential quarter. This part of Střešovice was developed in the 1920s following the model of English garden cities. You will find terraced houses built for state officials as well as individual villas designed by Pavel Janák, Alois Dryák, and Ladislav Machoň. Notable Czech artists who lived here include sculptor Bohumil Kafka, painters Emil Filla and Václav Špála, and medallist Otakar Španiel.

- Tour duration: approximately 1.5 hours.
- Tour end: Cukrovarnická street.
- Recording or filming the guide's commentary during the tour is not permitted.
Advance ticket sales end one hour before the tour begins. Tickets can be purchased on-site only if capacity has not been reached. The organiser reserves the right to cancel the tour if there is insufficient interest — participants with tickets will be notified and receive a refund. Children under 6 enter free.
