TANCESRAZ: Kristýna Černá - How to Say No
The Art of Saying No - How to Stand Up for Yourself While Preserving Your Relationships
In the creative world, saying no is not easy: you don't want to disappoint, miss an opportunity, or create conflict. Kristýna Černá's lecture will focus on how to maintain your own boundaries, refuse requests, and recognize pressure or authority influence in time. It will also touch on the principles of empathetic confrontation and, tangentially, manipulation.
Using concrete situations from the dance and creative environment, participants will practice how to say no in a respectful way - even in moments when they fear disappointment, conflict, or missed opportunities.
Kristýna Černá is a psychologist and dancer, member of Brownies Company. She studied psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University and works as a psychotherapist. As a lecturer, she focuses on topics of negotiation, stress resilience, and habit building.
