There and Back Again

The two-day fantasy festival There and Back Again returns to Ptení Castle on 19–20 June 2026. The festival is a unique blend of fantasy convention, Renaissance fair, and music festival with interactive elements and an atmosphere inspired by the worlds of The Lord of the Rings and other fantasy stories. Two stages will feature bands from the Czech Republic and abroad: Barbar Punk, Lichočar, Fookin Guns, Clockwork Animals, Sukuba Ensemble, Dvarga (PL), Zverzia (SK), and Ánni. The programme includes stand-up performances by Mikky Trkal + Afročech Tony, hosted by Jakub Glos, and an after-party with a DJ. On-site you will find themed zones and interactive activities: archers, dwarf village, mermaid, blacksmith, sword-fighting performances, period crafts, wandering bards, tea house, the Green Dragon tavern, and chill zones. There will be a fire show, a solstice ritual in the underground, lectures by authors, creators and cosplayers, and cosplayers mingling with visitors. The festival is aimed at fantasy and medieval culture enthusiasts.

Children under 6 have free entry and must be accompanied by a legal guardian. Children aged 6–15 may only attend with a parent or legal guardian. Tickets are available through smsticket.cz.
