Clockwork Animals are a steampunk band from Brno, Czech Republic, widely recognized as the first act of their kind in the country - founded in 2017. The seven-piece blends Victorian swing, dark cabaret, rock and folk with electronic touches, and their live shows feature costumed dance performances spanning burlesque, Irish step and oriental styles. Their songwriting draws on the retrofuturist world of the 19th century, in the spirit of Jules Verne.
