About

Barbar Punk is a folk-punk band from Brno, Czech Republic, founded on 2 November 2007 by vocalist Horset and guitarist Mamut after a Jaksi Taksi concert. Their sound blends melodic punk-rock with folk instruments - Irish flute, bagpipes, mandolin - and the band performs in barbarian costumes, mixing medieval imagery with punk attitude. Over fifteen years they have released three studio albums and played hundreds of shows across the Czech Republic and abroad.
