Carpe(t) Diem Reloaded

The performance Carpe(t) Diem Reloaded transforms the original concept into a performative walk set within the spaces of Futureum.

Carpe(t) Diem — a dance and movement performative walk with suspended acrobatics performed by Jana Ryšlavá, Jindřich Panský, Alžběta Tichá and Viktorie Szaloczi — explores how to savour the present moment even when several carpets compete for your attention at once. Joyful moments can quickly turn into obstacles, and a fall can be accepted with grace — and perhaps it will be the carpet itself that offers a sense of safety.

The walk takes place in the spaces of the former industrial building Futureum; audiences enter at their own risk and are required to respect the rules of the space. The route is not suitable for people with limited mobility or children under 10 years old. Children aged 10 to 15 may enter only with an adult. Sturdy closed-toe shoes are recommended.
