About the venue: Theatre at the Exhibition Grounds

A functionalist theatre building from 1928, designed by architect Emil Králík within the Brno Exhibition Centre grounds. The auditorium holds over 700 spectators; in the 1930s the Liberated Theatre of Voskovec and Werich performed here. Listed as a cultural monument since 1991, the building has been closed to the public since the late 1990s and awaits full reconstruction.

A pioneer of Czech auteur fashion whose collections balance haute couture with sculpture, Liběna Rochová has been creating since the 1970s and has shown her work in Paris, New York, Lyon and Tokyo. She is a two-time Czech Grand Design winner and a member of its Hall of Fame.

On November 21, 2025, a major retrospective exhibition Liběna Rochová: Touches was opened at the Moravian Gallery in Brno, which will run until August 2027 and features over 130 models on an area of 850 m².

The Touches exhibition made public for the first time sketches, diaries, and a private archive that Rochová donated to the Moravian Gallery.
