Petr Soukup (born 5 March 1987 in Plzeň) is a Czech poet, stand-up comedian and lyricist based in Prague. He has written songs for Lucie Bílá, Monika Bagárová and the band Abraxas, translated the rock show Hedwig into Czech verse, and co-authored the Czech lyrics for the musical Matilda (Netflix, 2022). His books - poetry collections, erotic short-story anthologies and children's titles - have sold tens of thousands of copies, and he regularly tours Czech cities with his stand-up poetry shows.
In 2026, Soukup released the music single Ich bin Fetisch (Droggy Style) and is preparing Czech-Czech Dictionary 2.
In May 2025, the EP Zlatý hodinky was released - a music-literary project combining spoken word with ambient music, recorded with composer Denis Sov.
In 2025, he published the book Umělá póza - notes from one period of life, with Chat GPT listed as co-author.
On the Audiotéka platform in 2025, a recording of the stand-up performance Stand-up, za kterej pudu sedět was released.
In 2024, he published the children's book of fables Bajkeři, a collection of secrets Nech si to pro sebe! and the audiobook Erotické příběhy, které se staly; he performed a total of 50 shows.
